Lina Floral was named for Wendy Melrose’s Grandmother (Oma) from Germany. Wendy rarely was able to see her Oma, Lina because she lived in Germany and the family was unable to travel often to see each other. The memory of air mail coming from Germany with letters from her Oma inspired the European feel for her business and the color blue that is incorporated into her logo. Wendy has long considered Lina her Guardian Angel.

Wendy has been in the floral business since the mid 90’s when her sister asked if she could “do” the flowers for her wedding. She got such a great response that many friends started asking her to provide the floral arrangements for their weddings and special occasions. From there it snowballed from a backyard business to the current incarnation with a (size) warehouse located on the West Side of Santa Cruz, CA.

Cloey Allison
Cloey started her floral career in High school. Her favorite flower changes seasonally, so ask her what it is today! She raises chickens and goats on her urban farm in Soquel. Cloey’s favorite color is purple.

Erin Schwartz
Erin loves to bake when not running a marathon. She lives on a ranch with her husband and two kids. Erin enjoys country musc and has a flair for fashion. Her favorite cup of coffee is a soy cappucino.
